Dress sucsess

(Note: I apologise if this sounds like gibberish, Ive had 7 hours sleep in 2 days)

My day was amazing! By far the best time I've had in a while. I {heart} catching up with good friends, plus it gives me the chance to be a big kid!!! (with the 2 above).

But now I have a ...

Headache... Sore toes... -$$$$... 1 pair of shoes... and yes... 1 DRESS...!

I never thought the day would come that I would find a dress that actually suits me, but I did!!!! Paired with a belt, flats and a short leather jacket and it will suit me 100%.

Due to this effort tomorrow is a day all to myself! No shopping... Nice sleep-in... And my blog!

Thank-you to Stacey & Bianca for all your help and an all round great day! Really going to miss you 2 and your kids when I leave & Rachael Congratulations on your engagement, it was really good to randomly catch up with you today!! Nothing beats old friends...

Dresses!

Im not a girly-girl, not now, not ever! The idea of wearing a dress scares TERRIFIES the hell out of me & trying to buy one scares me even more. Yes!! I have to buy a dress today. I'm nervous, confused & scared!!!

How silly, Every other girl there will be in a dress. Hopefully with the help of my closest friend Stacey I will be able to pull this one off(dress pants and a top is an option if all else fails). I don't think turning up to an engagement party in jeans and a hoody is really acceptable. {Damn it!}

I'm also not the right body type for dresses, so once again another problem. I don't believe in the "body types" (Pear, hourglass etc), I don't fit into any of these categories & no really if I think about it nobody I know does!!!

I am a little excited I will admit because it's not often an occasion like this comes around, also it will be a good chance to see old friends before I leave for Perth. {2 Birds with 1 stone}

So please wish me heaps of luck, as I know I'm going to need it. I will post photos tonight. (Don't expect to see heels, I'm planning on NOT breaking my legs!)

Free Compliments

I'm strangely in a very happy mood today. De-cluttering a wardrobe will do that to a girl! It's amazing how much lighter I feel just by getting rid of old clothing, It's only fabric after all!!

I've successfully removed a 5th of my wardrobe, which will surely help me when it comes to the big move in September.

Come-on I think I'm deserving of a huge pat on the back, as I've been trying to do this for about 3 years..

Anyway I just wanted to share some of my happiness with the rest of you. SMILE!!!

Can somebody out there in blogosphere please tell me why I have never heard of the Tigerlily clothing brand? OMFG {sorry for Internet lingo} but....OMFG.... I'm in love, madly deeply in love.

I swear I would have spent ever last cent of my tax money if I wasn't saving for the big move! So I did behave my self and only came home with 1 item. 1 item I'm in love with. A nude rosid beanie beret, and it is amazing!!!!
